Project

Transfer of new methods to identify competence illustrated by the vocations 'mechatronics technician' and metal cutting technician.

LEONARDO DA VINCI is the European Union’s programme on vocational education and training.

Under this programme, instruments for promoting the transparency and transferability of qualifications are developed in order to ease mobility within and between industries.

For this reason, an attempt is being made with the support of the sectoral associations of the metal and electrical industry to identify vocational competencies in an exemplary study of the metal professions 'mechatronics technician' and ‘metal cutting technician'.

The project builds on recent experience with, and the results of, the use of EUROPASS Mobility and its transparency instruments, and implements the transfer of these insights into the industry.
